As a result of a number of factors the "REDSTONE RUMBLE" scheduled for 2-14-10 has been cancelled from the schedule. I regret having to do so but as stated there are a number of reasons. One being that a decline in catches on Redstone by local anglers has created a situation in which I have been approached by lake residents who feel that the lake has had too much pressure coupled with the flooding a couple years ago and have concerns for the Lakes overall health of which I can appreciate and am in some agreement or at least understand THEIR PERCEPTION with three consecutive events. Furthermore a permit was issued for this past weekend and the weekend previous the lake held the annual sportsmen club fisheree. These factors weighed heavily in my consideration and decision.
Secondly and more importantly.... we are a self contained operation and permits/insurance etc. are in my name under X-tremeIce, as some of you know I have been engaged in a fatiguing health situation which was made worse by a fall and subsequent week long hospitalization last week in which a number of things were found during tests that require "prompt" care and attention as well my wife also will be undergoing a procedure the week of Feb7-12th which at this point has become my main concern. The [brown]Castle Rock[/brown] event will remain on the schedule and we look forward to a wild event on the 28th of February. The dedication we have to the events is based on the events being run correctly and that requires a maximum output of which at this time I can not physicaally provide without taking care of the health issues now, in order to be strong for the Castle Rock event and long term as well.
I have spoken to all but one of the pre signed entrants and informed them of the change in scheduling, It quite simply can not be avoided as well as out of respect for Redstone Lakes future viability which is paramount along with my personal concerns. If you had planned on the 14 th event, feel free to switch over to the Castle Rock "BUCK HORN BRIDGGE" area event out of the Dirty Turtle resort. That sign up link is posted above and is a world class fisheree. I would apprecite you passing the word as per changes discussed and hopefully all will be well with some recovery time from a rough stretch.........lastly as most of you know my mother and sister were struck by a fleeing vehicle from police last week during a high speed chase "gone Bad"... and recieved serious injuries. My mother now requires daily attention at 83 yrs. old from the injuries and I along with one other sister have to provide a portion of the care for her to the best of our abilities under the circumstances which will also be no easy task but as always "FAMILY" comes first during uncontro;;able circumstances. I appreciate the kind responses I have recieved when speaking with many of you.It is appreciated!!

Thank You and appreciate your understanding, look forward to seeing you at the Castle Rock event.
